ABout me

I want to give you a brief background on who I am and why I created Wellness By DPT. I am a physical therapist who specializes in orthopedics and sports injuries, performance and preventative care. I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from NSU in 2022.


Prior to obtaining my DPT, I was a personal trainer for 10 years which I still continue to practice. Even in school I always sought out new certifications and learning opportunities which allowed me to have a diverse portfolio in the health and wellness field.

My credentials include:


  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy
  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
  • Certified Personal Trainer through NCCPT
  • TRX Suspended Body Trainer
  • Mckenzie Part A & B
  • Dry Needling Certified

So, why create an online community for rehab, sports performance, and personal training?

Being in the health and wellness field, I've observed that clients often thrive during in-person sessions but struggle to maintain progress when working independently.


Common challenges include:

  • Lack of time
  • Uncertainty about which exercises to do and how often
  • Forgetting exercise details 
  • Fear of injury


If any of these sound familiar, you're in the right place. I created this platform to support those who can't access one-on-one care due to time limitations, financial constraints, travel, or other reasons.
